Piano Roll Problem in Sonar 4

I don't know what I did....I've read the manual and I can't figure out what I've done.

When I go to the Piano Roll and try to trigger a sound in the roll itself by clicking...it has a circle with a slash through it by my mouse and won't let me put a mark there. I was working fine in it a few days ago...

Anyone got any ideas one what could have happened? A setting I could have changed on accident?

Restarting the program has no change.

Hmmm... Could you attach screenshot?

Sounds like you have the pointer set to auto-erase. Use the drop down beside the pointer selector and click on the auto-erase (which should remove the tick).

Have you set the focus to another track than the one showing in the piano roll?
