hey guys,

im looking into buyng a kick trigger for recording mayb gigging. not sure bout gigging yet as im yet to find any one i want to play in a gigging band with!

but my question is this... is it better to use an actual kick trigger that you put on your kick drum or just use something like drumagog and a good sample? i havnt had the best of luck with drumagog as it seems to freeze my computer or when it works i just dont have good enough technique on the fast double kick parts.

so i was thinking of mayb getting a ddrum kick trigger.. what you think of this over software?

i say get the trigger if you are having trouble with drumagog..i hate software problems..:D

plus i have had a trigger and drumagog before and i personally like using the trigger better

Ddrum triggers are the best. Get the good ones, not the redshots.

BTW, you can just plug the trigger into a mic preamp and use that signal to trigger drumagog.

Mind you, the trigger is just the thing that clamps on to the drum, you will need a sound module to use it live.
