Phantom Power wanted

I'm looking for a stand alone phantom supply to supply the 48volts to a pair of Neumann U87 mics. I have a sony mixer with phantom nut want to quit that and just have the power supply. Don't need the mixer as my roland VS890 has it's own preamps and mixer. Any info on who makes such a thing will be appreciated.
 
If you already have pres in your Roland, Rolls sells Phantom power units. I believe that they run ~ $40US. But paying extra for an external pre might be worth it if the pres are better than the ones built into your Roland. Your Neumann's deserve the best pres you can afford! Good luck!

Thanks Gordon. I'll check Roland but have never seen phantom power units advertised in the Australian catologue.
 
Cool... someone else from this neck of the woods!!!

Why not go for a tube pre? That'll give you your phantom power but also give you a some great pre's which crush the Roland pre amps!

An ART Dual MP can be had in Australia for around AU$700

I'd buy the external so you can do MS stereo with the U87s!!
