PCI Card

I've been looking around and I can get a M-Audio Audiophile 2496 card for $100. How does this card compare to others? Is $100 a good deal?

i haven't used it, but they're good cards from all the suggestions i've recieved for it. I say go for it if the card meets your recording needs. $100 is an alright price for it.

i've had mine for about 3 years now. i like it a lot. rock solid and very clean sounding. you could spend that $100 on a lot worse pieces of gear.

If that's new, that's a good price. I love mine. Wish I had a 1010 though. One of these days.
