Labeling a patchbay, how did you do it? I have some white "console" marking tape, but that seems dumb. I would like to print off labels of some sort. What did you use if you printed off something? I have worked with huge patchbay setups where everything was on sheet/s in plastic, but for my one 48 point patchbay that seems more cumbersome then it needs to be. But it might be the route I go, I donna know. Anyways what did you do for your 1/4" patchbays, if it matters I have a berry 3000 (the balanced one with switchs).

I used to cut console tape in half the long way and then stick it under the two rows of jacks.

But then I bought a Brother labeller, which was very inexpensive--around $20. So now I just print up nice looking labels for the patchbay and for the cables themselves as well.

Well thats just great, I already used console tape on the connectors  what a pain that was. Do you have the model number of your printer? This is probably a officemax/staples/officedepot trip for me right?

Same here.

My labeler is the Brother P-Touch model PT-65. A great thing to have around! I bought mine from a mail order place, but I'm sure they or something similar are available in office stores everywhere.
