Patchbay: Pro Tools and the m-audio Firewire 410

Hey Folks,

I am need more analog ins. I have a Pro Tools M-Powered with a Firewire 410 soundcard, which only comes with two analog ins. Therefore I have to constantly switch cables between my hardware synths. What should I do?

Well a patchbay would make switching between the synths much easier, or a nice mixer

Would the patchbay cause there to be unwanted sound when recording?
