That sucks bad Chris. It's kinda scary too not knowing if the feeling will come back all the way.I cut the back side of my left hand(behind the knuckles of the pinky and ring ringer, almost even with my wrist) on the job 7 years ago and didnt know if I would play again. It was so deep that it cut into the little blood vessles and nerves AND those ribbon like things that go from your hands all the way up your arm that cause the fingers to function.I got lucky because it didnt go all the way through those elastic like ribbon thingys....however,I didnt have any control over my little finger or ring finger for 4 weeks....I could ball that hand up in a fist(2 weeks later when the stitches came out and the swelling went down,Oh ,and I had to go back to the ER late at night the same day I got stitched up.My hand was swelling so much that it popped all but 3 stitches loose) and those 2 fingers would remain as straight as an arrow while the others balled up into a fist.Thats when I got scared.............anyway to make an already boring story that I thought you could indentify with short. It got better gradually and except for a little numbness on the back of my hand I have full function of those fingers.Thank God.The end.
Hopefully your hand will heal up quicker than mine did!Im thinking healing thoughts for you man.
