I'm looking for a pair of monitors, so I don't have to use computer speakers any more to mix. I looked at the Roland DS90 A 24 bit Reference Monitors, what are your feelings on them? Any others that are under like, $600 for the pair?

The Samson Rubicon's come with a pretty decent recommendation, I haven't heard them though.

I really like my M-Audio BX8's too.

Well, I'm willing to go a little wee bit higher if it's worth it. I'm kind of looking for something good, something good enough that i won't be replacing them any time in the .. decade. lol

I can't say I know much about different monitors, to be honest, but I've been very satisfied with my Alesis M-1's.

I useteh M1 MkIIs as my nearfeilds, but I don't "trust" them. I can mix fine on them, but that's with a bit of practice, and even now I'll still check any mixes on as many other systems as I can before being satisfied with it
