Hello--I am new to posting in this forum but have read many a Ghuru's opinions here. Recently I have gone solo musically trying to develope a "one man band" performance. I play guitar, sing and do percussion with my feet while sitting on a stool, {I use a small bass drum, highhat, tambourine and wood block gajate pedals}. Using a peavey cs800x pa with sp-2s, I am miking my guitar with a 57--sounds suprisingly full. I want to add a bass guitar and congas to my performance, What is the best interface to perform this task ? What is a good machine to do this economically and that is flexible, with a quality sound. I want to line in the recorder with the bass guitar ,and record the congas with an sm 57 {requiring a loZ input}. I need a pedal to actuate {start and stop} the machine as my hands will be full. I know the tascam 414,424 mk 2 machines have lowZ inputs but can a foot switch be added ? Can some one share some ideas with me please----Gemm

Walter tore is also a one man band gig, and he would probably share info with you. if you search his name, you should come up with something. Look on no where radio.
