I obtained two older condenser mics: MB Elektronik MB C540 and Preter UCM-1020.
Both run on battery power, Preter on standard 1.5V and MB C540 on stranger 15V (two) batteries.
MB C540 has a strange cable that doesn`t fit the mic inputs on my mixer.
Questions:
Does anyone know anything about these mics?
Is it posibble to use 48v phantom power with them?

You might try posting at www.gearslutz.com . There are a number of people there who know quite a bit about the more esoteric brands/models. Be patient, as they are pros who don't necessarily check the boards every day...

is it a tube mic, that needs special power supply?

Most likely the 1.5V one is an electret mic--leave it as it is.
I am sure it is possible to convert the MBHO into phantom. If I had it in my hand I'd tell you exactly what to do, but without seeing it and reversing schematics it is hard to give any advise.

marik goto prosoundweb.com and as klaus heyne he might know
