Well, over here Digital Village and HCom both sell the MK012A as the single cap version and the MK012 as the three cap version.

Mine are the MK012's, one cap and one -10db pad. When I originaly purchased them from GC, one was stamped MC012, the other MK, I returned the MC thinking it may have different internals. Regardless, the MC was the same configuration, one cap, one -10db pad.
