Okay, you songwriters...feedback

I like what I've heard so far, I'll listen more later. Did you put it all up at one time? Is this a prject you've been working on for a while? I figure a while since you ahve many songs up, it takes me long time to write and edit and like that many originals.

Working on this stuff for about a year and a half, but only have had my website up for about 4 months. Some songs took a just a weekend to do, others took weeks. I've got a bunch of other stuff that's is half-written, or half-complete that's sitting on my hard drive. I've performed about half the songs on the website as solo acoustic versions on open mics sometimes as well.

I usually write lyrics first, then put music to it, and experimenting with different styles to see what works. Sometimes lyrics just sit there for about 6 months or so before I can come up with music that works - sometimes re-writing the music from scratch a couple of times. For others, it just kind of comes together quickly. I figure the only way I learn is thru trial and error. Trying to cull about half of the stuff give or take do some tweaking/re-editing/re-writing, maybe write some new stuff, and cut an indie release. Will need a vocal producer though, as I'm finding it hard to produce my own vocals - I have no problems singing live in front of an audience, but once I have the choice of which takes are good, which needs to be improved/punched in, etc. etc. I'm at a loss - no perspective I guess.
