I'm still in highschool so obviously mine isn't great. It's 12x12 or something like that. Here's some pictures for any who care:

Note the foam doing nothing but being a fire hazard:

Another view from the dorway:

My mixer. Moltar(from the show Space Ghost) is showing Radiohead's Thom Yorke his knife. Wierd episode:

This thread is really a waste of space.

Equally as good to know that it's not the size that matters. I figured that that wasn't your real studio or you probably wouldn't hang out here.

Mine is so small!

Wow...12x12 is huge, mine is only 8x8. Mine is so small that if I fall off my chair, Im no longer in the studio. My studio is so small that I use quantum physics for recording, I fluctuate from inside to outside, Im not really certain which is which. Sometimes this guys cat appears and dissappears in my studio...

"Sometimes this guys cat appears and dissappears in my studio..."

Heheheh, I wonder what Schroeder's theory on bedroom studios is:

"Put one aspiring musician/recordist into a small room filled with audio equipment and close the door. As soon as you close the door the possibilities of whether the musician is recording a masterpiece or yet again fine-tuning that perfect reverb on his latest toy cannot be decided until the door is reopened and you discover that your specimen is doing BOTH! How can this be? This doesn't make sense (head explodes southpark stylee)...."

Ahem, my 'studio' is a 10 x 10 ft bedroom in the back of my house that I share with my wife as an office (I'll sort some photos soon) but I also work at a local studio where the control room is smaller than my bedroom.

I just designed a house for my Architecture class at school that has a 8x10 controll room. The main area is 40x40(kind of, there are angles) and the first and second floor both offer lofty views over the basement studio and provide the studio with a 30ft cieling at the outer wall and a 40+ft cieling near the center as I designed the house without a full attic so I could have a cathedral cieling. Once I get it fineshed I'll make a quicktime movie of it and post it for all who care.

roughly 8 x 10, but it's expandable!

Since it's wedged in one side of my living room I can use the rest of the living room for other performers. Since I can't get far enough from the "studio" to get a good pitcure, I made this cheesy panorama:

My studio's in a T.A.R.D.I.S. It's bigger inside than outside.

I can't say what the letters stand for but it's a reference to "Dr. Who" and his time/spaceship. It's a british telephone booth (his ship) on the outside, but a spacious "high tech" time travel machine on the inside.

Although my studio feels somewhat like a tardis, I measured it, and it actually isn't any bigger on the inside than the outside.

WOW ! Heinlein and Dr. Who references in the same thread...

I grok this board.

:D

I've got lots of room, but it's shared with the whole family...
