Very nice! I could listen to this all night. Kind of a Black Crows groove. The horns top it off perfectly. Great collab!

Great job, you guys. To me, kind of reminds me of the sound Lennon had on albums like Some Time In New York City. Sort of a wall of sound with saxes and everything. Great vocal. Just a thought would be to build it more, or have things come and go a bit more, or feature things when they play, everything seems to stay at the same level through out. But really, sounds good!

not really any new comments than before on this tune...'cept the sax parts fit in very well. Nice job, guys.

This could be a hit if it was picthed to the right person....it's definetly what country radio is playing right now.....it has that renegade Austin singer/songwriter feel to it but it's still a radio friendly tune......this mix is really harsh but the song is(and always has been) a country hit in my opinion.

What an incredibly cool thing to say.

Thanks,
Chris

Great Collab...

What a great job you guys did on this collaboration! I think the sax is a perfect ornament for this tune. It really adds that little bit of "ummph" to make this track really come alive.

Excellent singing on your part, Chris, and great playing to boot.

The only mix comments I might have is on my end the drums sound a little bit too buried ... but this may just be preference (and nitpicking...)

Great job you guys! :)

Mark, when you bend and play out of pitch as much as this, effects are an absolute necessity. :D Actually, your sentiment was shared by a lot of other folks the first time this went through the clinic. DUH-LAY = TOO MUCH. I think you'll just have to take my word that it actually sounds worse without it. :D Thanks for listening. You haven't been around as much, have you? Maybe that's me.

I'll take your word, but when I hear something this good, something in me makes me want to goad you into pushing it over the top...call it PD (Producer's Disease) :D
Went back to work a few weeks ago when summer vacation ended, seriously cut into recording/reviewing time...so visits are fewer and farther between, dammit. Band's been busy, too, so time=0.

Lt. Bob, we just learned I Got You (I Feel Good), using keys for horns. Works ok, but man what I wouldn't give for the real thing!

Gotta tell both you guys again how cool this collab is!
