ok, its time to move up

Hey , I currently have my studio in my living and bedroom, and lack of sound proof , Ive played with my current equipment and etc long enough.

In the house im currently in I have a garage, and kinda spacey , So I was thinking it would be great for my studio. Its not in good shape as far as cleaning, Im going to have to move alot of stuff but thats the no problem.

I want to have a booth in the same room as the control room , but sectioned off, and I have NO idea of how to do so, I dont know what kind of sound proof or wood or anything to buy. Can someone help me out , send me links and etc.
