Pleads the 5th...
I'm in the process of moving an office (actually a couple). The new office space will require a better computer than what's presently there. So I need to biuld a new computer. Now here's where it gets fun. Like the saying goes, Shit rolls downhill... So I'm going to be giving up my current system to the new office space (sob, sob...
), and building a new one for my studio
. I use Cakewalk Pro Audio (soon to be upgraded to Sonar), and have a Delta 66 Soundcard. I'm leaning toward a dual processor unit (RAID?, even though this is new territory for me) and Windows XP (to support both dual processors, and dual monitors). Am I going in the right direction with this? I'm going to be putting this thing together the next time I go to a computer show, and I'm looking to put in $1,000 - $2,000 into the tower (I already have monitors, CD drives/burners coming out the Wazoo). So C'Mon Mr. Sandman... ...Build me a dream! Give me your thoughts on this as I could really use some advise on this one!!! Thanx, Tom.
