i just got a hold of an old Studiomaster 16-4-2 desk, and im now a believer. analogue rules. daw's are amazing, and SO cost effective, but it took me about a billion hours less to eq and mix. threw a session out of logic, out of my 16 output system on jacks into the desk. i dont know if i could really go wrong with this desk!
this isnt so much a message to respond to, i just felt i wanted to shout it from the top of a mountain, but i didnt have a mountain. i had a news room and a camera. oh, sorry, got caught up in anchorman there!
what analogue bits would people recommend? i'd LOVE an 8track casette recorder. ive seen some tascam stuff on ebay, just wish i wasnt in debt. damn student loans!!
looking at getting some ADAM a7x's also. anyone used some? im getting them purely off the good reviews ive heard. any difference between the a7 and a7x?
