hi --

just got a neutrik patchbay gently (i hope!) used, and there's no documentation with it -- does anyone have one of these and know which configuration is normalled and which is denormalled ?

right now on the back the top jacks are white, the bottom ones black (on the front they're all black), and i assume this signifies one set-up or the other.

also, can you half-normal these?

thanks for any info, i want to get this guy hooked up!

What model is it? NYS-SPP-L ? If so, go to the web site http://www.neutrik.com/content/products/products_group.asp?id=204_244162 and download the manual.

You flip over each individual jack module to get the different behaviours.

- Grey jack at the front bottom is Half-Normalised, broken when a jack is inserted in it.

- Grey jack at top back is Isolated/De-Normalised when a jack is inserted in it.

- Grey jack at top back when a jack is not inserted in it, is split whereby the bottom rear connects to both front jacks.

Regards,
rathpy
