Have encountered a new problem in CEP since yesterday - when in Edit trying out various reverb settings on vocals, applying Silence to various sections of tracks and applying any processing changes at all, I can't undo. I have the undo/redo function selected, but the commands are greyed out and won't operate. This happened suddenly - was fine earlier in the day. Anyone have any clues as to what is going one here please, and how to remedy it?

The only time that I can think of that those functions wouldnt work is when you have it paused instead of stopped.

Sorry, thajeremy, not with you. What are you referring to re "paused" and "stopped", pls?

Go to Options/Settings and check whether you have disabled "Undo." There is a tick box for it, but I don't remember offhand where.

No, I haven't disabled Undo - have already checked that. I'm not pausing CEP, either, so it ain't that. What the...?!!!!

Buggered if I know why, but all is working normally again now. Oh well...not complaining.

I've had that happen too. using undo/redo takes up memory and cep might be flushing the undo history to free memory. i have'nt looked into it much so i don't know why it happens without some kind of warning at least.

Thanks for letting me know that. Maybe I'm not hallucinating afterall! I have 1K of RAM, so I would have thought that would be more than adequate, but this undo function failure did arise after quite a bit of experimenting with applying various effects etc at a single session, so your memory theory makes sense.

Cheers
