Hello Home Recorders! In My home "studio", I have this:
...Sennheiser headset, which, --and this is just a bit strange to me-- ends with a 3-pole mini-jack. (I'd assume a 2-pole would be enough.)
With the above-depicted 3-pole converter (which came with a headphone), I can plug the Sennheiser into my little Behringer Xenix 1202FX...
...namely, into one of the the Jack mic inputs (I have tried inputs #1 and 2):
Now, I don't get sound from the Sennheiser when I plug it into the Behringer. On this Behringer, I do get sound from a Shure XLR dynamic mic I own; and, conversely, the Sennheiser *does* give sound with this Terratec USB soundcard of mine:
Anyone have an explanation as to why I am not getting sound from the Sennheiser on the Behringer? Is it that I am not using the right "converter" from mini-jack to Jack? If so, what do I need to use?
Thanks people!
