no headphone vocals

when we record we use backing tracks to record over, played through the headphones etc.

But when we talk down the mic our voice doesnt come back through the headphones. Any ways to correct this??

What soundcard do you have?

If it's like a soundblaster or similar you just have to unmute or turn the level up of the line in or mic in. This is in playback settings of the soundcard which you can access through the little speaker icon bottom right of your screen.

Playback settings are like the monitoring settings (what you hear of the input) and Recording properties are how loud the actually input gets recorded.
