Ah, shaddap. Ed was playing me a couple of mixes of Billy the Kid ... I have to say the one where he does the high end properly and gets the vocal level right is better than the one you made him put on your site. Cool song though. ;)

that is some truly amazing work, not a lot of tunes get that around here, but that is really good. Both of you have tons of talent.
 
wow... a sound blaster... I hate myself, I guess I'll have to stick to being a musician first and a recording engineer second, because I can't compete with this sound
 
Well, chrisharris, this is a great track. I can believe it was recorded with a Soundblaster. I had a buddy record one of my first bands with a Soundblaster, wasn't bad. I actually listened to this track 3 times! That means something!
Good job.

Hey guys...thanks for listening - I've still got some work to do, but I need to give it a rest for a few days and come back to it. Mainly, I need to get the drums balanced; anyway, thanks very much.
 
She has a great voice...

and I knew Ed was behind all this Soundblaster nonsense. I really liked his advice on panning the guitars like that...thanx Ed! :rolleyes:
