The Yorkies are being sold here in town for $629 CDN plus tax = $720.
after looking at many transactions on Ebay/Musicians Friend/Zzounds etc, I have finally realized that our gear in Canadian stores is priced accurately: we save nothing by ordering from the US, even though the price tags always look like we are going to save a bundle. But things really aren't all that much more expensive here, because we get paid more dollars for the same job (in most fields...ie. at my level as a researcher, when you factor in the exchange rate, I make a tad more than someone doing the same job in the US). Unless the pricetag is half price or something, I no longer even consider purchasing from the US.
