Hi guys,
I know it's not much good without a clip (i'll upload one on my lunch break in a couple of hours) I have lots of recording experience on the playing end, but as an engineer, im just starting to break into it. I'm having problem with a specific area in the guitars, low end is fine, but finding single notes aren't sounding as good as they could - a bit thin, etc. But I can't seem to nail the problem area.
(these are just guide guitars for now, retracking is not a problem, I just want to do it with a tone im happy with first, before tracking them finally, and trying to fix the problem then.
That being said, it's a new guitar that I'm not 100% familiar with, new Ibanez custom - Purpleheart body, w/ DiMarzio Crunch Lab in bridge position, so it may just be a matter of another few days of working out the sweet spots.
If anyone has some ideas for where I should start once you've heard the clip, let me know
Andy
