newbie needs help tascam us 1641 no digital Input

Hi,
I just recently purchased logic pro 8 for my Imac and I am wanting to use my tascam us 1641 with it, However when I go to the control panel for the us 1641 the digital input status says unavailable..

So as it is I can set my input as the tascam us 1641 from logic pro but it ownt here any audio.
any suggestions would be great

what are you running into the digital input??? are you sure it's a good signal... and why aren't you trying the analog inputs first?? get them working then when you're sure the thing is hooked up right to the puter then try the digital again...
