Check out:
"My MIDI-sounds are not heard in the mixdown. What is wrong?" from the Cakewalk FAQ!![]()

You are shure you can't rip out any of the other PCI-cards? Soundcards are best with PCI. I would only recommend USB to laptops (and even then PCMCIA would be the way to go)...

It is probably all I need for mixing, and it has an effects loop

)!!! I'm now doing in 2 hours what I've been trying to figure out for weeks!

Still can't get my guitar to record without it recording the freakin metronome.
You need to do this for every new project - unless you create a template which allows you to describe to Sonar exactly how you want to open a blank project file. And you can have several variations of characteristics, each with its own name.
See the Help file for details of how to do this.I'm having trouble getting my guitar to sound on the computer. I'm going straight into the card with a 1/4 to 1/8 stero cord. Do I need to power it first? I've set Audigy mixer to line in, but still not getting anything. I think I won't get sound till I get the Pod. Crappy
- I can hear the ReValver AFTER recording in the audio channel, but now while playing
