Newbie Board? ok......

Hi everyone,

Someone recommended this site to me and it looks to be just what I need, so will spend a long time reading first off, I should think

Brief biog...... live in London, but originally from the North. Was in a band centuries ago, we reformed last year and in order to preserve some of our old material, I invested in Pro Tools and an MBOX. I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do yet and frankly a lot of it is baffling to a recording noob, so hope I can pick up some pointers

ahhh good ole famous Dave...... we got a lot of history, but chose different paths... he sought fame, I went for popularity ;)

It's just an inside joke...Famouse Dave came on board recently and now you, Popular Frank....so there is some similarity to the vibe of your forum handles. :)

My User name is down to the band name I'm recording under (Popular Franks) - no web presence yet, so don't go looking... oh, except Last FM
