new tubes, suggestions needed

Those are two power resistors that someone has jury-rigged in there in series (probably to replace a single one of higher value.) Looks like there might have been problems with this amp in the past.

so that's probably his problem? or maybe it is his tubes, but somehow caused by the weird resistor thing?

well, i am hoping that isnt the problem, beccause that could mean there are more problems somewhere else, i am hoping i just need new tubes.
currently i am trying to find schematics fro the amp or something to find out how much that resistor is supposed to be and then i will replace it with the correct one.
