thats not dumb lol....... at the bottom of CE2.0 there is a lil level indicator(for lack of a better word)......... if you go to the i believe its options< monitor record levels...... then just start singing or rapping into the mic you can get a good idea of where u at dB wise....... ill try to explain a lil bit more when i get home and i can actually look at the program........

as far as getting radio play..... this afternoon im making an edited version of this track.... basiclly just taking out the profanity and changing the last verse a lil bit....... from there im just going to see who's hands i can get this joint into...... i appreciate all the good feedback tho...... it lets me kno i must be doin somethin right haha....... i dropped this track on like 2 other sites and got basiclly the same reaction from everybody........

I was going to ask who i needed to go to about gettin clearance for classical samples....... it doesnt really make any sence to me seeing as the actuall peice was written in 1801 in a foriegn country but a man who's dead now yet someone else still has ownership of it.... lol anyway
 
you dont have to take them out..just mute them or reverse the words..

check harry fox..as i said before..then again his work might be public domain now..im not sure..i dont use sample..so i really cant say..i will do some diggin..
 
yea im a just reverse the words...... and its some stuff in my second verse that im a change.... lol make it a lil more moms friendly lol......... but yea im a search harry fox some more and see what i can dig up......

alright i think i understand that...... but can u sort of dumb that down for me..... cause i just search harry fox and they had nothing about beethoven up there........ maybe i just didnt look in the right place
 
You don't need to clear a bethoven sample. Anything recorded prior to 1929 I THINK or somewhere around there is public domain.

Tried recordin at somewhere around -18db|-12...damn thats low...its gonna take like 12db of makeup gain in the compression for me to be able to hear myself over the beat lol.

I found myself singin this ish in detention today lol...bout to get my arse extra time lol...They talkin bout people cant concentrate...WTF iz there to concentrate about in detention?!? Anywayz that joint iz stuck in my head son
 
thats whats good man lol.... i was doin the same thing at work today.. like dayum i need to get home and listen to that cause my ipod broke lol..... haha.... dont get in to much trouble man.... lol or betta yet just play it for the detention teacher they a probly let u out early lol
