that track is pretty hot man. Like the vocals.

I wanted to ask you what software you use? And how do u go by recording vocals? My only problem I have is my vocal quality.
 
That production was really on point. At first I had no doubt in my mind that you went to a local commericial studio, then you told us what u used. I am really amazed.

Imagine how much damage you would do in a 1,000,000 dollar studio. Hehehe.

this has to be the first track i've gotten that reply from lol..... thx fam...... and shouts to change for the tips he gave me on tracking that joint worked like a charm.......

lol the only tip he gave me that I used was instead of recording at like -6 to -3 dB like I normally do I recorded down around -18 to -15dB and compressed up to give it some volume...... It mad the vocals sound cleaner in my opinion and i was able to get louder on the mic without worring about distortion which helped me out with my presence and everything (i was more comfortable).........

as far as the freeway comparision I dont think i've gotten that one before..... people have been trying to figure out who I sound like for years.........lol
 
Imma try dat one!!! I've also decided to go ahead and step up my quality. Imma start savin up for a presonous firebox so i can have everything in one package and ditch the behri mixer. I also want to get an m-audio dmp3(been wanting one for months) after that but the presonous pres have to be better than those behringer pres. I can live with that till i get the dmp3.
 
i wanted the dmp3 but it was a lil outta my range so i settled for its little brother lol the audio buddy
 
Had to listen to the track again..she bring mad life to the track..and you def..got your vocals clean and on point..

I agree it needs radio play!!!! but he may have a problem wit the beethoven royalties

Got a dumb question...how do u know exactly what dB ur recordin at in ur DAW? Usin CE 2.0 here.
