thank you

The intro solo sounded OK but the strummed guitar & vocals sound like you recorded on a variety of cassette players. What are you using to record?
The song ideas are good but you'll need to develop them with something a little more faithful in reproduction.

Yeah, you've got a bit of an Elliott Smith vibe going on, which is always cool. But the recording quality is very rough, as I'm sure you know.

thanks for giving it a listen! Elliot Smith... thats the third time ive heard that ... not too familiar with his music... maybe i should look into it =/ yeah the recording is rough... i used a 3 dollar radio shack mic and some free recording software.. =/ thanks for your feedback i appreciate it!

What is your obsession with your age? The vocals kinda make me cringe. Stop trying to sound emo. Just work on your playing.

Thanks the the comment boxman... I don't "try" to sound "emo", that's just the way I sing... I only stated my age cause my username says 14 and needed to clarify that... Thanks for your comments I greatly appreciate it =]

well naturally there are problems here from an empirical standpoint, but i gotta say, i've heard worse recordings in this forum from people who have a few thousand dollars in equipment. i'd say you got your $3 worth and then some. keep working, friend!:)

The vocals are...Well...Awful. You're straining terribly. The music, however, is pretty well written. Maintain that ambition of yours and don't lose it after high school like I did dude.

Oh yeah. Don't label yourself anything. You don't sound like that. If you do, I am sorry for you. I KNOW you can do better. Take some speech level singing classes. Look up Jaime Vendera's books. Don't look for validation in juxtaposition to other people's work just to make yourself feel better about what you might in any other case consider inadequacies. The day you start fitting in and producing a certain sound that anyone else can claim is the day you need to pick up a new hobby or that ambition is going to waste.

Sorry to be so cynical. Keep up the good work!

Yeah man I don't disagree with you, haven't been too serious with my singing... I know going to college in a few months will definitely help since ill be majoring in music technology and have vocal classes too... Thanks for the advice, ill never stop with music =] thanks
