New song Called "Everybody pays"

Hello all,

"Everybody pays" is a new song i wrote last week. It is on the heavy side so crank it up and enjoy... only if you can tolerate my singing. :D I am trying different stuff to make me sound more musical but then again i am not a singer. I was experimenting with a PG57 on vocals going into LA610 and LesPaul and vox amp into LA610.

There is a song called "Sugar Hips". It explain it self below the song link.

Cool song, funky vibe, kind of a stream of consciousness feel to the vocal that turns into a trans-like (notice I didn't say drunken :D ) state with the repetition. Nice guitar playing.

The solo guitar's the strongest element IMO but it's under-used. I think the arrangement would be stronger if it had a bit of that funky solo guitar as an intro. I'd also like to hear a little of that guitar just poking in here and there during the vocal phrases.

EDIT: Wait... I listened to the wrong song :eek: . So I'm talking about Sugar Hips.

Cool song. I think you might want to try and give the drums a bit more of a real feel. Try making some of the hits a little louder or softer and keeping some slightly off beat.

Timothy i hear what your saying about the arrangement.Maybe i will at some time mess around with it again.lol I checked out your website and it has alot of great information on there and your songs are excellent! Very nice.

pdadda I use "Drums on Demand" And don't mess with them to much and i know i should try to get them a little better.lol A real drummer is really the only way to go.Cool songs with WMD.

Dig Everybody Pays. GREAT guitar sound!! Dig Sugar Hips as well...cool, groovy vibe going on that one. Drums on Everybody are the only thing I'm not hip on, namely where the music breaks. No fading, drums just stop without a trace. If you could add some trailing cymbals for a few milliseconds and some drum rings it would add to the drum sound. That is my absolute only criticism. Great work!

I found myself singing the chorus today. "Everybody pays, everybody pays." Very catchy.
