Regdar and the Fighters - Nor Rights Nor Soul
Any feedback is appreciated. Especially regarding the effects on the vocals. Do they make it too hard to understand the lyrics? Do the drums (they're fake, as they are in all my songs) sound ok?
The vocals are hard to hear. The effect is a bit strong. Maybe try a clean vox on one side, and the effected vox on the other? Oh...wait...that's exactly what you've done isn't it? d'oh!
I think the drums sound fine. In my headphones, the snare, hat, and kick are to the right, and crashes to the left (I think...maybe not). The crashes sound a little fake. the backbeat is fine though, I think. The hat sounds fakeish, but it works. Kind of industrial sounding.
Personally, I'd like to hear a little less distortion/gain on the rhythm (and less vol) and hear more of the lead guitar part. But as it is, it has a really dirty sludge rock sound, and that's cool too.
The reverse reverb on the cymbals is cool, but maybe could be done a few less times?
