new project assist?

hiya, fellas.

Im in the midst of our new full length, and ID LOVE you'alls take on this MIX.

BE ADVISED.. this is pretty much just the Drums and Bass.. and 1 guitar line.. so there are some pretty wide open spots. I still need to track guitar 2 , table, and vocals.

BUT, if you please.. how's the drums and bass? I want a good foundation to builad a good home.

first impression :

generally quiet overall

Of course, this means that the bass is not able to punch through.

I hate turning up the volume of my amp. Hate to try to fix the stereo image.

When I did turn it up though, it sounds nice. I like the percusiion, love the snare.

The bass still needs to be more commanding.

hmmm. excellent. I have this habit of being WAY to bassy.. so glad to hear it.

and its true, I mix with my amps on pretty LOUD... so I better attend to the olde volume issue!
