thank you sir!

thanks! hope your boy digs it!

Yeah, he did. In fact, he went to a jam session today, with some old buddies from their days at the Fender Center for the Performing Arts (he was in a couple of the Kids Rock Free bands), and they told him he should listen to some Meshuggah (sp?) stuff.

After what you just wrote to Jeff Maher, I think I'll revisit your page, and check out some of your other music...

I remember the other tunes...you posted about...7 months ago? They were real swell!! And the music in this one is, too. But that vox is just a spoiler. I've actually heard Cookie vox on some death metal that I like. This tune, IMHO, doesn't support it. Not thick or aggressive enough. I think it would be a great platform for some Steve Vai on '11' likkedy soloing...and an Eric Johnson supermelody head. Just me. It's such a tight, artful composition....and a real good recording. But y' can't please everybody....so please you!

Sorry 'bout my potty mouth Mrs. Lyric.

sweet!

meshuggah is my all-time fave band. but i have a lot of varied influences, from 70s prog and fusion to modern extreme prog metal to radiohead to cat stevens. hell, my latest obsession is with guillermo klein--check him out, it's like jazz/fusion with a latin vibe. i really love a lot of different things, but i'm extremely picky about what those things are, so i can totally sympathize with people who aren't feeling certain aspects of my music too.

hey, we like what we like, and do what we do, y'know? cheers bud!
