RAMI you now owe me fif-ty-thou-sand-dol-lars!

I've updated the song if anyone cares to take a second listen.
I think it's a fair bit better. Kinda like 50% less catastrophic success.

I listened again, and now my Credit Card is maxed out!!!!! (actually, that would be about $1.50, so...)

Anyway, love the tune. Still sounds awesome to me, so can't really comment. I'm not a drummer, so I can't comment on drums unless they are really bad. Any decent drumming sounds good to my ears, and I'm terrible at mixing them, so drum comments will have to come from someone who knows them better than I do. Guitars are way cool, and I think this is a very good meld of PF, and DT.

Cool.

Guitars sound meatier? I cant remember the original mix, so its hard to compare, but im sure the guitars sound alot meatier and more realistic although there is no getting away from that "direct sound".
Drums are clear and defined, but dont sound right to me, i think im looking for an older sound of drums maybe. More upfront but not taking over the mix if you follow.
Full mix.
Cool stuff.
Do you like Queen?

i'd try a hi shelf on the distorted gits (hi's up) maby however many db at, i dont really know,
3-4 k ???? then maby supress 6k with a narrow Q???? try that (if you have the time) and tell me if it helps or not.

actually, the entire thing sounds a little dark to me, but watch out, the distorted gits have some thing wierd goin on in the fizz area. bringing up hi's will probably make that worse.

love the body in the gits though.

Fizz is a common problem with direct distorted guitar recordings.

Roktuk, I absoloutely luv this song dude!! I keep listening, and listening.
Your intro, and ending are superb.

The way you have arranged this tune kicks! You have that ethereal, particle, metal, orchestrated quality all complimenting one another, to create a tune with impact.

I hear a subtle change at 3:44, that begins to build taking on a spanish flavor, and at 4:00 sets into it, and at 4:30 subtley goes back into the metal. Wow.
I do not know if it be intentional or a natural flow moving across the milky, creamy land of compandered sound..... :D

Your timing on this project is impeccable.

Bump....went the song, I am a hit, so bump me again you nit-wit :D

I luv this tune!!!

Sounds great. I didn't think the guitars were all that weird. They sit in the mix well. What more could you ask? The verb on the drums is a bit harsh but I guess you were looking for a big sound. It did only slightly remind me of Floyd but more with a DT feel. Maybe not Floyd but Queensryche. Not to make comparisons. The middle change is great. Personally I think it would sound great with just some tasteful soloing. Nice track anyway.

roktuk, Nostalgia is lush and nicely layered, and so many changes in tempo. Anti-Anthem is even crazier. Great job--sounds like a lot of energy put into your work! Oh, and I can definitely hear some David Bowie in there at the end. :)

Very nice job...it is easy to hear that you put a lot of effort into this. The guitars are both meaty and fizzy...kinda like a burger and a soda...not sure where I'm going with this. Anyway, very cool tune.

This is progressive rock. Well done. Good recording...get some fricken' vox on this junior! It's cool...drums need to come up in the mix the rest can stay. Finished product should be fun and interesting. Hearing those influences shine thru.

I love the Prog, Yeah get some vocals on there, another sound I hear is early Kansas.

Good synth sound! Good progressive action! Good heavy guitars + synth action! Ok, good everything! I have it cranked up reeeaally loud, hehe... I actuallly don't mind the drum sound either, they sound kind of distant, which kind of fits the mood for me, especially when the heavy guitars are absent. Awesome song!

It IS an awesome song, isn't it? :)

Friggin' awesome song.
Yep, fake drums and direct guitar into a cheapo soundcard. I have no gear.
What was used to record it?

But what's all this talk of Bowie?
This song needs some growly goodness.
...and...of course... cowbell.

It needs some Eurt!! DANK,DANK, DANK, DANK. :D

Good composing. I listened to both pieces on the Nowhere Radio page. Creative, unpredictable, sweet where it should be sweet and rocks where it should rock. Nothing sounds artificial, which is odd because most of the instruments ARE artificial. Very tight arranging and guitar playing.

Changes in sections bring certain visual associations... almost sounds like you work the film industry...? and I mean that as a compliment. Great stuff.
