won't open for me.....could be a problem on my end though....

I was able to get all the music... but I had a few initial reactions...

1) EW!!! WMA?! *gags* There are so many better, more universal ways to compress audio... MPEG is this awesome group of geniuses that made a great one called MP3 (hence the title of the forum "MP3 Mixing Clinic"). I would definitely consider finding not only a better way to encode your songs, but a more accessable hosting service to put them on the web. They're everywhere and none of them are Geocities.com.

2) "Is that music I hear? Are my speakers on?" You should try loading those songs into a standard stereo audio editor and let those mixes chew on some good old Normalization so the music comes up louder than my own heartbeat ;-)

The songs are actually pretty cool, but it's too empty and quiet to give you a good critique on what I first heard. I'd go back to listen again but you're out of data transfer again :-P

I like the synth right where it's at in Instrumental. It's rare that I hear synth and distorted guitar together & like it. I like Mushroomhead, so I like Instrumental too.

I could say more good stuff, but I'll move on into the fixes that I percieved:

The high hats in both of the last two songs need more body and tail on 'em. They are too pronounced and thin. You can probably do that with reverb and lowering the level. There might also be a pitch control for that instrument where ever the hi hat sound is originating from.

The clean channel guitar with chorus in Instrumental is boosted up too far beyond the rest of the song.

Whatever is causing flange on distorted rhythm guitars in both songs should be dealt with.

Vocals on Through Silent Shadows are too high and dry - in need of some processing.

Bass guitar is inaudible.
