Welcome!
Hi, @SteenamarooHi Nick,
Welcome to HR.
Do you already record the raw tracks yourself or have you been going to studios for that so far?
Your work on Spotify sounds great. Hearing lots of Beatles and ELO influence there.
Either way you're in the right place.
That's great to hear that you're willing to share your tracks for others to mix. We have a forum area dedicated to that
as well as an area for critique of WIP mixes and plenty of other discussion areas.
Make yourself at home.![]()
Welcome aboard, Joe!Good morning (in the UK at least),
As a newbie to the forum - I really don't want to commit any faux pas' in my first post so I hope someone will correct me if I've done so with this post.
I'm Joe, a recording artist based in Wales.
Maybe best to create a new thread in the Tascam area here... https://homerecording.com/bbs/forums/tascam-user-forum.11/Finally opened the box of a new Tascam 24. Formatted a 32 SD card. Trying to get started. Several buttoned don’t work like the assign button. I’m probably doing something wrong. Is there any good step-by-step tutorials that I can view?
Thanks for the welcome.Welcome Wubick.
I clicked on one of your links. Of course it didn't play anything, just invited me to sign up for Spotify.
I'm not paying a subscription.
Hi Basscleaner and welcome. At the basics there are two rooms, one for mixing and one for tracking. Most of us here have to setup our room for mixing, therefore we are trying to make it neutral so that the mix translates across many listening environments. The other part, which few of us have that privilege, is a tracking room. The tracking room usually will have kind of character, to capture when recording through a mic.Hello! I'm novice here, 68 years old with some experience in Room acoustics, because Love good music by good acoustics. I know, that room acoustics is one of the base component and hope, that can get good advices to reach the best sound.
