New Hard Rock Tune, Help mix please

I'm not sure what or if this mix is lacking something or over doing something. This is the first song I've done in a long time that is no VST Instruments and is all real. I played the Guitar, Bass, Drums and Sang on this one. Does everything sound alright, how the sound comes together?

The whole thing sounds too lo-fi overall. The drums sound really tinny and small. Which doesn't fit the song very well. The snare sound is THIN.

It's not my kind of music but it's a good start. Good luck!
 
I think the drums being too thin and tinny are attributing to that lo-fi sound. I'm going to give a shot on beefing them up a bit. I think it is a combo of the overheads and the snare. I need to add some body in the EQ to that snare to give it a fullness. And drop some of the hi's on the overheads.
 
Not bad, the drum problem is just the snare. The kick and toms sound fine. The snare is all crack and no meat. Vox are kinda up-front, but not too bad. Guitars and bass sound great.
 
I did a remix on it. Worked alot on bass and drums.
 
I'm waiting for the download to complete. Firefox seems a little slower at this than IE6.

Doesn't sound lofi to me.
The snare is a little thin still but not a bad sound.
A nice true metal delivery on the vocals reminds me a little of PAW.
FAT rhythm section!

I encode stuff at 256Kbps so it takes a bit longer but sounds better.

What is PAW? I must know, lol...
 
the song is bad ass. the drums are not.

re-do the drums, make them sound more full and alive. let them have more PUNCH.

otherwise i think its stellar. cool freaking song :D
 
That is the "Mini Stonehenge" of snare drums.


But other than the snare, this is pretty bad ass. :)
