That's so true.. good for close mikeing, but not if you want a nice room sound.;

I would want my drums to sound like James's band, but hey, what's not recorded just isn't there and there's no way to get it in the mix.. Too bad.. oh well, next time I'll threat my room with blankets and carpets..
or just get a nicer room.

I bought drumagog and tried it once. I am sure it's just me and I may have been a little over zealous with it, but I have never used it since. Even with close mic'ing I could not get it to work with the overheads right.
I may end up using it on someone elses stuff to satisfy them, but not on my own.

Well... that's a tough one. When it happens it will happen:D
I am just barley getting set up. I still have to finish (and I haven't started) the control room and a smaller ISO room. I was not even planning on running my snake out right now.

I have my gear set up in this guys (the home previous owner) hidden tiki bar temporarily. I'll try and get a couple pictures up on the studio thread.
Eight months I have been working on this house:eek: Moved in a month ago.

Anyway. I am sure I will get some time come winter. Trying to make the best of what weather is left to do more work;)
