Dude.... doesn't this board have a player of some kind that you can post your tune on?

i just made a soundclick so its up there now sorry about that

It's got a good feel to it.
First thing I notice is there's quite a bit of headspace available still. Then you need to get the vox up front a little more. It's really hard to tell until you get the levels up a bit. That's a good place to start.

You're getting better at recording! :) good job

You should probably bring up the vocals and the drums. Once you do that you should be good.

Oh, and experiment with automation. I noticed in some spots the bass would pop out at you. Take the volume down wherever you see those spots. Do the same with every instrument too. It'll help keep things even when a compressor can't handle it.

since i posted this ive redone the mix several times. so i may post it later today, revised.

thanks for the advice garth and squibble.

After listening a second time, I realized this mix is kind of lacking bass too. If you have the mix routed to a master track (you're using Reaper, right?) Just boost the bass. Another tip is to switch to the "mixer view" and make sure all of your volumes are pretty close (not the faders, the actual level of the tracks) This way you'll get an even mix. Are you using monitors? If so, what kind?

The guitar that comes in at 44s is too loud. Overall, this mix needs some more low end and probably some compression to make it denser, but that is more of a mastering suggestion than anything.

Yeah, that sounds better. You should invest in some monitors. I suggest KRK 6's. The Behringer monitors aren't even that bad.
