Need to borrow a bass for recording project (SE Michigan)

Hey all,

I'm getting close to the deadline for my new album and I have some bass tracks to lay down. The problem is that I don't have a bass. I'm wondering if anyone out there from Southeast Michigan/Northern Ohio has a decent one with a head and cabinet I could borrow for a few days in early February. I'd be happy to give reasonable compensation. Let me know!

I've got a Japanese 60s short scale Kent bass with a case I'd be willing to let go pretty cheap if you'd beinterested in buying it. I even changed the pots to full size ones, it's much quieter and great for a guitar player playing bass. Then you'd have it forever and could also run it direct and save hassle on the cabinet and amp. That's the reason I originally bought it a couple years ago but my fiance plays bass and there's literally 5 basses in my house right now and one should really go. I'm thinking $135 shipped/insured to your SE Michigan domicile? Let me know if you're interested.
