will some one please post a list of schools that have a focus on audio recording and production.......
i'm looking for colleges right now and need some help.
yes i'm sure this is the field i want to go into...

SUNY Fredonia outside Buffalo, NY has a pretty good program. It's a Bachelor's program set-up through their School of Music. It's based on the European Tonmeister program. Class sizes are fairly small and you get a lot of hands on with standard industry equipment. The program is pretty well known so getting your foot in the door in the industry after you graduate is a lot easier. I went through the program from 91-95. Scoob, in San Marcos, TX(30-45 minutes from Austin) @ Southwest TX Univ. they have a very good nationally recognized program. Only problem is that its really tough to get into, or I'd be tryin to get in myself.
