Never Act Like U Know All
I currently have 8 keyboards/synths that have 16 outputs total. A 16Ch mixer is good enough, but I always believe in having extra, it's a matter of how much extra.

I'm using a Mackie 1202 original, not the vlz.

Unless theres another brand that I dont know of, I was wondering how quiet the Behringer 32 channel board is? I know most of their stuff is crap.

I need a quiet board with no noise, and I'm not sure how the Behringer stacks up to this task. I know the old mackie 3202 would handle the job, but I cant find the old board anymore, just some new one.

So what do you think? The board is for studio, not live. I understand Behringer is ok for live, but not studio?

Any help is appreciated.

maybe what you need is a patchbay? or are you using more than one synth/keyboard at once?

Yes, at times I may be using7-8 synths at once in a sequence. So a patchbay is out. good idea though. Thats why I'm looking for a clean, low noise board.

how about the behringer 32 ch eurodesk?

If you want a step up from the Mackie, without getting into really expensive territory, check out the Crest XR series.
