Need cleaning products for my tascam TSR-8

:confused: Just aquired a Tascam TSR-8 and need to locate cleaning kit and head cleaning solution? Anybody have any providers!

Yes, go to your local drug store and pick up a bottle of isopropyl alcohol (at least 90%) and some makeup remover wipes, the 100% cotton type. Use that for the larger TSR-8 heads, tape lifters, tape guides and everything the tape touches, except the rubber pinch roller. If the rubber roller is not very hard and glossy, you may want to get one of those microfiber cloths (or anything lint free), dampen it with water and clean the roller with it. Otherwise use CaiKleen RBR from www.caig.com or replace the roller and capstan belt while you're at it.

You will need a Sync I/O and/or a synchronizer to do it right. Maybe you could just rent for the day.
 
It kind of reminds me of when I bought my Tascam TSR-8 1/2 8 track reel to reel.
