Well, I tried about 6 times...may have hit 3 good notes. Man....I blow. Gonna give it up tonight.

Anfontan and _________ (singer X), I'm really looking forward to mixing your tracks with this. (dobro, elec gtr, vox  ) Gonna be a busy weekend, so I'll likely work on it Sun night and a bit on Monday. Thanks for your work everyone.

If anybody else is working on tracks please send them along anytime. No rush.

EDIT: I got your guitar track Dogman!

Here's gummblefish's vocal over just rhythm gtr/bass.

So far we've got the orig two guitars, bass, two versions of drumset, dobro, two elec gtr tracks (one bluesy and the other John Scofield-ish bluesy)and three verses of vocal. This is definitely going to be longer than the 1 min original. :)

Hey metalhead, you might not believe this, but your give-a-fuck-ometer causes a very quiet ticking in time with the meter needle, I can hear it on my cans!

Here's my didg track:

And what good is a didg without a crazy Australian blokes track:

FYI - LightningMP3 was indeed having server problems. My links in this thread should be working now if anyone cares.

Here's an experimental mix of the first vocal verse with drums, bass, rhythm & lead ac gtr just to show where I'm headed with it.

HR Blues

I'm probably trying to make each part too loud, and the rhythm gtr should be silent during the drums' first pickup notes, but it's a start. More to come with all the great parts you guys tracked.

Can Dogman incorporate the percussive slap of those jubblies?
The track sound gud.
The didge sounds gud2.
Gud god - this is a gud thread.

rayc - Thanks Ray. Gud? hahhah - you must be using a text messaging phone to post. :D :D

mshil - A didgeridoo on E!! Sounds cool, though I can't pronounce the name of the instrument. You must know how to do circular breathing man. It's gonna come in handy for a variant bass part.

gummblefish - What kind of mic did you track the vocal with? Sounds very good. Oh, and what should we name the song? I figure since you wrote the lyrics it's your call.

No, but I'm pretty good at crossfades :D
