nee help with pro tools

Hi everybody, im new to this stuff and im very confused. I have the mbox 2 mini, and a behringer x2442usb. I need to know how to plug the mixer to the mbox, i think i have it but im not sure, i ve got two chords coming out of th line 1 and 2 on the mbox going into the main outs L and R. idk if thats right but theres a pic of the back. Now once all that stuff is plugged in how do i use it with pro tools, im not sure on how to set it up to where all the mics i have plugged in to the mixer will go to pro tools and record. thanks in advance.

First of all, it's a good habit to speak and think in terms that reflect the direction of signal flow. You should be going FROM the main OUTS of the mixer TO the 1 and 2 line INPUTS of the interface. That should allow you to mix any of the inputs to the mixer into the inputs of the interface.
