Live use or just recording? I ask because for live use, its netter to have separate volume and tone pots for each pickup, so when you switch pickups mid-song (like for a lead part) you don't have to also adjust controls. So #1 for live, #2 for looks!

You have a P90 guitar and Humbucker guitars? I would choose both Gibsons - that way you have your bases covered.

Yes - for my money, number 2 is the nicest!

Here in the UK, we have an amazing guitar shop - Lister Guitars - and Pete is well known around here. His guitars for sale are niche, amazing, limited editions, and real collectors stuff and most goes worldwide, not sold to locals with no money. Today he has had to close, as the flat across the road is on fire! 13 fire engines from across the border with suffolk, norfolk and Cambridgeshire!

Well how about the oddballs? Like 24.75" scale 24 fret full sized. Or a 21 fret 30" full size...for sausage fingers.it an epiphone ..

How is #1 different from what you have already? Looks like a Melody Maker to me.

It would have to be #2, I don't get along with PRS guitars. The necks just don't feel comfortable to me.

MJB, that kind of stuff isnt an issue for the Beek..You want 4 control knobs, 2T 2V..No drill..Id use concentric pots. Done.

for fun I'd would have to use Jimmy Page 21 sound wiring..and solder it LEFT handed..Right hand it would be over to quickly. I must be satisfied.

I got a hankering to get a baritone Telecaster..Tuned to B' with a huge 27" neck..Imagine the twang from the thicker deeper strings..
