ha ha didn't even realize it was in the picture. I used to collect military stuff, but only have a few things left. It's an israeli gas mask. I dunno why it was on the speaker though ha ha...Strange

I just thought it was funny to see.
I have a little 8 yr old boy, and he thinks gas masks are just the coolest thing! He got one on his birthday last month.;)

You said you wanted to upgrade the mixer....whats your honest opinion of the Behringer. I know they have a bad reputation but I have an opportunity to get one second hand and very cheap. Would it be worth it as a stopgap till I can afford a Mackie or a soundcraft or whatever?

Nice little set up by the way.

Disco_Dave, I have had the Behringer for a long time. I have had no problem. The preamps aren't the quietest but they get the job done. For bass and vocals I use the M-audio DMP3 Preamp direct to my motu interface. So currently I'm using the mixer only for drums. I don't think they are that bad to tell you the truth. That's just my opinion.

I often find it very hard to get a balanced judgement on this sort of thing....some people say Behringer mixers are the seed of satan...others say they do a decent job for the price.
My attitude is that if I get this second hand one cheap it would be worth it to get the extra channels. Plus, I know the guy whose selling it and know that he looks after his equipment well so the risk of it going wrong is at least reduced. We shall see.
