That was mighty tasty....and 40 freakin years ago.....way cool....

And lots of cool German mics! It blows me away how he uses his thumb to pick with. He's the Master of octaves.

Way cool!

I knew he picked w/ his thumb, but I'd never seen him actually play.

One of the true greatest of all time

and not because he could shred. It's his melodic choice of notes. He could compose faster than I can think. Genius.

Oh, and did I mention?

He's from INDIANAPOLIS!

So there! :p

Yeah, so much of this stuff is improvisation. Talk about pulling it out of your nether regions.

Wes >Ion of my favorite jazz guitar players. Get "Full House" or "The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery" albums. True masterpieces.

Big fan of good old Eddie, but jazz guitarist definitively are "superior" (in a technical and rythmical sense of the word) Tal farlow, Wes Montgomery, Grant green, Django Reinhardt, George Benson and Charlie Christian are good examples of what I'm saying.

Of course I love metal guitarists: Eddie Van Halen, Paul Gilbert, Michael Romero, Muhammed Suicmez and Chuck Schuldinner come to my mind inmediatly.
